About the Role

Abbott Laboratories, a leading global healthcare company, is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join its team in Columbus, OH. As a key member of the Nutrition business, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing of liquid adult, pediatric, and medical nutritional products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality and safety system
  • Manufacture liquid nutritional products, including lifting and physical handling of raw ingredients
  • Operate and monitor computer-controlled systems, including clean-in-place (CIP) and heat treatment systems
  • Document manufacturing steps and interact with computer systems integrated into the manufacturing process
  • Prepare and operate bulk slurries for blending operations and heat treatment processes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to continuously lift up to 50lbs throughout the shift
  • Knowledge of food processing techniques and documentation requirements
  • Ability to read and follow work order documents, troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, and operate powered industrial vehicles
