Emergency Department RN Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our emergency department team on the night shift. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care. Experience working in an emergency department setting is preferred but not required. A minimum of one year of nursing experience and a Maryland RN license are mandatory.

About the Role
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying needs and developing individualized care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement treatment plans and coordinate patient care
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families during times of crisis
- Utilize electronic health records to document patient information and communicate with colleagues
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize departmental processes

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain knowledge of emergency department policies, procedures, and protocols
- Stay current with advancements in clinical practice and technology
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice changes

Requirements
- An Associate Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor of Science from a College of Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- At least 1 year of RN experience is required.
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse licensure is required prior to beginning orientation.
- Successful completion of a refresher course may be required if there is a gap in applied nursing experience of 5 years or more.
