About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inorganic Laboratory Technician to join our team at ALS Environmental. As an Inorganic Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for following established methodologies, performing analysis, and interpreting samples.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow appropriate methodologies and SOPs as required.
  • Document activities and report results in a concise and accurate manner.
  • Solve analysis problems as needed.
  • Interpret samples and data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Multi-tasked, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient English verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with staff, management, and clients in a professional manner.
  • Able to work well in a team and has problem-solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of working in a laboratory environment is highly desirable.
  • Must develop an understanding of quality control and the requirements of quality control.
  • Recognize and maintain safe working conditions. Handle hazardous materials appropriately and safely. Use appropriate safety equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
  • High School Diploma and at least 8 credit hours of college-level science courses – 1 year of college-level classes, or 1 year of laboratory experience will be considered.
