Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Universal Banker to join our team at QNB Bank. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Sales: Model QNB's Service Excellence by providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service to customers. Build relationships by being accountable for representing QNB in a courteous, confidential, and professional manner.
  2. Relationship Building: Evaluate customer needs through open-ended questions and refer customers to the appropriate resource. Open, close, and service every type of deposit product, and take and disburse loans.
  3. Branch Functions: Perform branch functions requiring an in-depth knowledge of branch transactions, including paying and receiving Financial Service Representative functions, balancing cash drawers, and processing ATM and Vault Settlement transactions.
  4. Training and Development: Assist in the training of personnel and participate in committee meetings to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  5. Community Involvement: Support community involvement through local volunteer and charitable organizations.
  6. Compliance and Training: Complete assigned compliance training in a timely manner and demonstrate ability to apply training to duties and responsibilities.
  7. Availability: Be available to work all operating branch hours, including holidays and weekends.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, and completion of Universal Banker Certification Checklist.
  2. Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to represent the Bank in a positive way when dealing with internal and external customers.
  3. Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to solve problems and carry on without supervision, and adapt to changing situations.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in all aspects of the job, including strong reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  5. Compliance and Security: Fulfill QNB compliance in operations and security procedures by adhering to government regulations, QNB policy, and established procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Banking Fundamentals and Consumer Lending: Successful completion of Banking Fundamentals and Consumer Lending courses.
  2. Product Knowledge and Sales: Strong product knowledge and ability to champion and coach for Q2 Sales and Service, referrals, and product campaigns.
