We provide care for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults, age 55 and older, with a focus on behavioral health and co-occurring disorders.

Our Kosair for Kids Children's Peace Center is the largest and most comprehensive private provider of youth inpatient behavioral health services in the country.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols focused on behavioral health.

The area of focus is on providing psychiatric and medical care to patients on our inpatient unit.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualized care to patients with complex behavioral and psychiatric needs
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participating in crisis prevention and intervention training
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Nurse credential from the Kentucky Board of Nursing
  • A BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • An Associate Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Able to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training
