Job Title: Hotel Line Cook

Are you a skilled cook looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Hotel Line Cook to join our team at Cambria Suites Pigeon Forge. As a Hotel Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to our guests' requests and liking.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests as they enter the restaurant.
  • Prepare and cook all food according to brand and health standards.
  • Stock and assist with food orders biweekly.
  • Clean and sanitize all restaurant, kitchen surfaces, and guest areas.
  • Cook food to guests' requests and liking.
  • Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
  • Respond to complaints and help resolve them.
  • Maintain knowledge of rotating menu.
  • Maintain knowledge of all health safety standards and requirements.
  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Report any maintenance issues with kitchen appliances and equipment to management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to provide top-notch guest service in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all staff.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
  • Ability to work in a busy restaurant environment.
  • Learn and execute all food and safety policies and laws.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or requested.
  • Restaurant experience a plus.
  • Hotel experience highly preferred.
  • Guest service experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team player.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Professional written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to walk and stand up to 100% of shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
