American Traveler is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiology Technologist to work as a Medical Imaging Professional in our esteemed healthcare facility. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring high-quality images are obtained.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient and safe imaging practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current professional license as required by the state.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid BLS through the American Heart Association.
  • Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel positions.
  • RN positions require at least one year of recent experience in specialty and a like setting.
