Position Overview:

We invite you to join our dedicated team as a Pool Safety Attendant. In this role, your main focus will be to ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests while they utilize our pool facilities. We welcome both certified and non-certified applicants for positions such as lifeguards, pool security, and towel attendants. If you are dependable, possess a strong work ethic, and can adhere to a no-phone policy during your shifts, we encourage you to consider this opportunity. Certification training is available for those who qualify.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pool areas to guarantee guest safety.
  • Implement pool regulations to maintain a secure environment.
  • React swiftly to emergencies and provide necessary assistance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of pool facilities and equipment.
  • Engage in ongoing training to remain informed about safety protocols.
  • Maintain a vigilant presence to prevent unauthorized access to the pool area.
  • Manage access points to the pool facilities effectively.
  • Address any disturbances or inappropriate behavior in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with fellow attendants to ensure a safe environment.
  • Provide courteous and efficient towel services to guests.
  • Monitor inventory and ensure a sufficient supply of clean towels.
  • Keep the towel station organized and clean.
  • Assist with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • For Lifeguards: Certification in lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid (or willingness to obtain certification).
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
  • Proficient swimming skills and ability to perform water rescues (applicable to lifeguard role).
  • Stamina to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods.
  • Strength and agility to respond to emergencies and execute rescue maneuvers.
  • Comfortable lifting and carrying equipment such as pool maintenance tools and towels.
  • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Good vision and hearing to effectively monitor pool areas.
  • Physical fitness to conduct routine inspections and maintain a proactive presence.
  • Capability to bend, stoop, and kneel as necessary for various tasks.
  • Manual dexterity for handling pool equipment and distributing towels.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in emergency situations.
