About Vassar Brothers Medical CenterVassar Brothers Medical Center is a 350-bed facility that has served the people of the Mid-Hudson Valley since 1887. Our hospital features a 30-room intensive care unit, a network of 13 surgical suites, and 66 exam and treatment rooms in the emergency and trauma center. We are part of Nuvance Health, a regional medical center that offers a range of medical services, including cardiothoracic surgery and neonatal intensive care.
Responsibilities- Pre-anesthesia assessment and patient consent
- Discussion of anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of patient physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
