As a member of the Ashtabula County Medical Center team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Outpatient Counselor to join our team.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a full-time Outpatient Counselor to facilitate Intensive Outpatient Program groups and Outpatient Aftercare groups via telehealth or on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Substance Use Disorders and the 12-step recovery program.

**Responsibilities:**

* Facilitate group therapy sessions for patients with substance use disorders
* Conduct substance use disorders evaluations via telehealth or on-site
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
* Maintain accurate records and documentation

**Requirements:**

* Master's degree in a related field (preferred)
* Licensure or certification as a counselor or therapist (or eligibility to work towards licensure or certification)
* Strong knowledge of Substance Use Disorders and the 12-step recovery program
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
