About the Job: As a parking attendant at Propark Mobility, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests while ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities. Your primary duty will be to collect payment from customers, verify cash, and process transactions accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct patrons to available parking spaces and assist with parking when necessary
  • Verify the bank of cash provided for change and necessary supplies at the start of each shift
  • Issue tickets to customers, recording required information on each ticket
  • Collect payment from customers through cash, credit card, or validation while adhering to company standard operating procedures
  • Process exception transactions according to company policy, including completing applicable forms
  • Provide correct change for cash transactions and issue receipts for all fee transactions
  • Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, including number of vehicles in and out of the facility, contract parkers, and validated tickets
  • Ensure the cashier booth remains neat and orderly, free of debris and trash, with clean windows and no unauthorized posters or decorations

Requirements:

  • High school degree preferred
  • One year of related experience with cash handling
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively verbally and through written correspondence
  • Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with employees and customers
