TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Assembler to join our team in Cartersville, GA. As a Heavy Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling fabricated parts to create large or heavy subassemblies or complete units. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble fabricated parts to create large or heavy subassemblies or complete units.
  • Set up jigs and fixtures as needed.
  • Lay out reference points, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of metal or fiberglass mold according to blueprint and layout specifications.
  • Fabricate parts as required.
  • Use hand tools, portable tools, hoists, and cranes to move materials, parts, and assemblies.
  • Follow all safety rules and practices.
  • Participate in safety committees or initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Mechanical fastening skills (bolts, nuts, hucks).
  • Ability to apply appropriate torque sequence and values (certified).
  • Strong reading comprehension skills to read blueprints.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes.
  • Ability to use hand tools to bend or form parts.
