Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is a vital member of our team, responsible for representing our company's values and mission to patients who visit our facilities. As a PSR II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect quality blood samples from patients and prepare them for lab testing, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, creating a comfortable and reassuring atmosphere for patients.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors, promoting a positive image and contributing to a safe and professional work environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal errors.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred; three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
