We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control Engineer to join our team at Global Search Network. As an Electrical Control Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical control systems, including power switchgear, automation components, transformers, and branch circuit protection.
  • Integrate electrical control systems with motors, valves, filters, and sensors to create high-quality systems.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines and schedules, tracking milestones, parts ordering, and vendor commitments.
  • Collaborate with vendors to develop and review control designs and MCC designs, ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) by creating and reviewing based on electrical and pneumatic schematics, and track material deliveries.
  • Develop and review PLC programs in Rockwell Studio 5000 and Siemens TIA, ensuring compliance with standardized programming guidelines.
  • Design and review HMI screens using Wonderware Software, adhering to established development guidelines.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure HMI screens and SCADA controls are intuitive and work effectively with the operations team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in Electrical, Controls/Automation.
  • Expertise in integrating power switchgear, automation components, transformers, and branch circuit protection with motors, valves, filters, and sensors into high-quality systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting electrical schematics for power and control systems.
  • Programming and troubleshooting PLC ladder logic, structured text, and function blocks using Studio 5000.
  • SCADA and HMI programming, with a preference for Wonderware software.
