Job Title: Vascular Sonographer

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team in Clackamas, Oregon.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Vascular Sonographer to provide diagnostic vascular ultrasound services in a hospital and/or clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cerebrovascular, arterial, and venous structures, as well as the ability to perform routine, emergent, portable, and surgical examinations.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing diagnostic vascular procedures using knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the age of the patient served.
  • Communicating with Vascular surgeons and/or Radiologists.
  • Assisting with patient transport needs.
  • Exam review and restocking supplies/cleaning.
  • Quality Assurance functions.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a vascular lab department.
  • Registered Vascular Technician Certificate from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
  • Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and perform exams independently and confidently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum one (1) year of recent experience (within the last five (5) years) in a vascular lab department.
  • Understanding of vascular lab services, workflows, and special procedures, including various interventional protocols.
