MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Mobile Imaging Specialist to fill a contract assignment in Falmouth, Massachusetts.

Job Summary

This position involves working as a CT Technologist with one of our top healthcare clients. As a Mobile Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment, positioning patients for scans, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
  • Set controls on related equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast media.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, label images correctly, and schedule patients for procedures.
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have 18 months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Tech and be certified by ARRT (CT) or ASRT. Licensure is also required in most states.
