Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Astoria Health & Rehab Center. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide high-quality patient care, promoting a safe and supportive environment for our residents.

Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities as a Certified Nursing Assistant will include:
  • Providing direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility needs.
  • Monitoring resident conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Participating in educational programs and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Be currently certified as a Nursing Assistant in good standing, or possess the necessary qualifications to work in this role under applicable laws.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years old (16 years old with current high school enrollment).
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
