The Orthopedic Unit specializes in the care of patients undergoing orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures. Our facility is recognized for its advanced joint replacement and neurosurgery technologies, ensuring quick recovery times post-surgery.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse will:
- Deliver direct nursing care following established protocols and procedures.
- Implement and oversee patient care plans, monitoring and documenting patient conditions as necessary.
- Act as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders effectively.
- Assess and facilitate patient discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Licensure and Certification:
- BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Active Registered Nurse license from the Alabama Board of Nursing required prior to employment.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure at the time of hire.
