Job Summary

Mead Lumber Company Inc is seeking a driven individual to join our team as a Yard Associate. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in delivering merchandise to customer jobsites and ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Product Knowledge: Learn and understand our company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
  • Delivery and Unloading: Load and unload trucks according to the list of materials on the sales invoice, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain inspection of each vehicle you drive for safe driving and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Customer Service: Listen and work with customers to solve their needs and provide excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Stock products and keep shelving tidy, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a good driving record.
  • Forklift Operation: Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Physical Strength: Possess physical strength to lift and carry 75 pounds.
  • Self-Motivation: Be self-motivated and productive, with a desire to learn and grow professionally.
