Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Team. We welcome applicants of all levels of experience, from new graduates to seasoned engineers. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare wastewater designs, site drainage plans, grading plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and cut and fill analyses for residential and commercial projects.
- Review surveys, floor plans, geotechnical reports, and other data received from architects, designers, public records, and subcontractors.
- Utilize current industry software and programs to perform Civil Engineering design.
- Work with assigned task scope and budget, coordinate with clients and team to develop effective and efficient solutions.
- Communicate with clients on detailed aspects of engineering work and tradeoffs.
- Maintain a working knowledge of applicable county and local municipal codes.
- BS/BE Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
- Three or more years of post-graduate experience in Civil Engineering (preferred).
- Working knowledge of current industry software, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong team player who can work on several projects simultaneously.
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to evaluate and balance design tradeoffs.
