The Opportunity

You will have the chance to work with an Agile team as they develop digital products to support clients' most pressing missions. As an IT Business Analyst, you will help propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with client applications and systems to capture and define system requirements and associated business processes.
  • Work with stakeholders to elicit and define requirements and translate them into system requirements for developers to implement.
  • Translate and document business needs, processes, and procedures into detailed user stories, process charts and workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with developers and testers to ensure understanding of requirements.
  • Support implementation of tools and features that meet needs and requirements of the client systems.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with direct business analysis and requirements.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, Agile teams to design large-scale digital experiences that meet business objectives.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle, technical requirements, and business process best practices.
  • Ability to think critically and use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and help shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Agile tools, including Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools.
  • Knowledge of Navy or Submarine domains.
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail.
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possession of excellent documentation, organization, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Possession of excellent client-facing or consulting skills.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Master's degree.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 annualized USD.
