Nurse Midwife

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our team at AdventHealth Medical Group Ocala. As a CNM, you will provide primary health care to individuals, families, or groups, working in a collegial relationship with physicians and other health professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients, including routine check-ups, prenatal care, and postpartum care.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with patients and their families to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Manage the medical plan of care, addressing physical, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, educational, and discharge needs.
- Initiate referrals to external or internal care providers or community agencies as needed.
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Current certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Experience in labor and delivery, preferably in an advanced practice setting
