MRI Technologist

As an MRI Technologist with Kaiser Permanente, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient imaging services using MRI technology. You will work closely with physicians to ensure that patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient imaging environment, adhering to strict radiation safety protocols and infection control practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnostic Imaging:
Perform high-quality MRI scans, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
Position patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Develop and evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification and recording.
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional patient care, addressing concerns and alleviating anxiety through clear communication and empathy.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Patient and Employee Safety:
Maintain a safe radiation environment, adhering to strict protocols and procedures.
Perform regular equipment checks and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal imaging performance.
Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
One year of MRI experience preferred.
