Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Gastrointestinal Technician to join our team. As a GI Technician, you'll play a vital role in preparing rooms and equipment for endoscopic procedures, maintaining inventory, and ensuring equipment functions properly. You'll also assist physicians and nurses during procedures, transport patients, and collect specimens. Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms and equipment for endoscopic procedures
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
• Ensure equipment functions properly
• Assist physicians and nurses during procedures
• Transport patients according to medical personnel instructions
• Collect specimens from patients
• Collaborate effectively with other care providers
• Stay current on endoscopy developments
• Assist with Business Office Support duties

Requirements

• GI tech experience and/or patient care experience
• Ability to learn IDX and EPIC applications
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• BLS from American Heart Association
