About the Role:

This is a full-time day shift position located at our state-of-the-art facility. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting initial evaluations and psychosocial assessments to establish individualized treatment goals
  • Forming therapeutic relationships with patients and maintaining a neutral therapeutic stance
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
  • Licensed Masters Social Work (LMSW) by the state of NY within 1 year of hire
  • Limited Permit (must supply exam date prior to start of employment)
  • Fieldwork or previous experience in a psychiatric setting
  • Knowledge of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and the bio-psychosocial model
