Key Responsibilities- Support the Quality Team in maintaining quality standards and good manufacturing practices.
- Assist with document control and other quality activities as assigned.
- Read and comprehend specifications and engineering drawings related to products, processes, and quality requirements.
- Create and revise quality assurance inspection reports, forms, and work instructions.
- Distribute controlled documents to applicable programs and locations.
- Audit inspection report compliance to quality plans.
- Assist with inspection report record retention.
- Support the Quality Assurance Team in data collection for dimensional layouts and capability studies.
- Monitor non-conforming parts to ensure control and proper disposition.
- Enter quality data into relevant databases and provide quality reports.
- High School education.
- One year experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with basic measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and digital indicators.
- Ability to use a computer, including word processing programs MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
- Ability to handle and transport parts and materials weighing up to approximately thirty-five pounds.
- College coursework in business administration, manufacturing technology, or related courses.
- Two years' experience in a manufacturing setting.
