Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Quality Team in maintaining quality standards and good manufacturing practices.
  • Assist with document control and other quality activities as assigned.
  • Read and comprehend specifications and engineering drawings related to products, processes, and quality requirements.
  • Create and revise quality assurance inspection reports, forms, and work instructions.
  • Distribute controlled documents to applicable programs and locations.
  • Audit inspection report compliance to quality plans.
  • Assist with inspection report record retention.
  • Support the Quality Assurance Team in data collection for dimensional layouts and capability studies.
  • Monitor non-conforming parts to ensure control and proper disposition.
  • Enter quality data into relevant databases and provide quality reports.
Requirements
  • High School education.
  • One year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with basic measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and digital indicators.
  • Ability to use a computer, including word processing programs MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Ability to handle and transport parts and materials weighing up to approximately thirty-five pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College coursework in business administration, manufacturing technology, or related courses.
  • Two years' experience in a manufacturing setting.
