We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Reata Glen. As a key member of our Plant Operations Department, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of our physical plant, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance duties, preventive maintenance, service calls, and emergency maintenance as needed and assigned.
- Conduct building and equipment repairs, with moderate plumbing and electrical, and some carpentry.
- Complete apartment turnovers, including minor repairs, touchup painting, and restoring apartment to original condition.
- Perform regular pool, koi pond, and lake maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, including previewing work orders, greeting residents by name, and thoroughly cleaning up after yourself when finished with the job.
- High school graduate with technical schooling and/or training preferred.
- Minimum of three to five years of previous work experience with electrical, plumbing, painting, and other general maintenance duties in a complex commercial, industrial or healthcare setting.
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and schematics.
- Basic understanding of HVAC thermostats.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Competitive hourly rate of $23-$25 based on experience, technical knowledge, and certifications.
