Job Summary

Kenyon College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach to join our team. As a key member of our Athletics, Fitness and Recreation department, you will be responsible for assisting in all facets of the NCAA D-III Women's Volleyball program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor student-athletes and provide guidance on skill development in all position groups.
  • Coach athletes on both offense and defense, and advise on game strategy.
  • Teach the basic fundamentals of the game and provide opportunities for captains and players to become scholars of the game.
  • Represent Kenyon College in a positive and enthusiastic light, and develop meaningful connections with students, staff, and faculty.
  • Recruit academically and athletically strong applicants for admission, and work in conjunction with athletic trainers to maintain student-athlete welfare.
  • Stay up-to-date with sport and coaching best practices, and share knowledge of the sport with the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Demonstrated experience instructing on the rules and fundamentals of the sport.
  • Collegiate playing experience.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification required.
