Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technician to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Medical Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of licensed Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide patient care and support.
  • Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and perform various medical procedures as permitted by state law.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain point-of-care laboratory equipment.
  • Assist NP/PAs in daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Medical Technician with IV Certification and Basic Certification with Massachusetts, EMT or CMA License.
  • 2+ years of experience in chemistry and hematology, especially with experience using an i-STAT device.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • BLS, American Heart Association certification.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
