About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System in Shenandoah, Texas.

Job Summary

This position performs Computed Tomography (CT) scans to create cross-sectional images of tissues and internal organs to be used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Radiologic Technology and experience working with CT scanners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining procedures and administering contrast when necessary
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and ensure technical quality of the scan
  • Enter and monitor patient data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform quality assurance on CT equipment and assist with accreditation processes
  • Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)
  • Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB(CT)) in Computed Tomography
