Job Summary:

The Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a skilled Physiatrist to join our team in a musculoskeletal and general rehabilitation role. This position will involve developing an outpatient practice focused on orthopedic, spine, and sports medicine care, as well as collaborating with the Department of Orthopedics and other major referral sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive outpatient musculoskeletal practice, providing expert care for patients with orthopedic, spine, and sports-related injuries and conditions.
  • Collaborate with the Department of Orthopedics and other referral sources to build a strong clinical practice and provide high-quality patient care.
  • Perform electrodiagnostic studies and supervise residents in the combined PM&R/Neurology Electrodiagnosis Lab.
  • Provide attending coverage and resident supervision for the general/orthopedic inpatient rehabilitation service.
  • Conduct teaching rounds, participate in resident didactics, and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Supervise and teach medical students assigned to the service.
