We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agricultural Lending Specialist to join our team at AgSouth Farm Credit. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our agricultural customers.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Business Development: Develop new business opportunities by building relationships with current and prospective customers, and identifying new market segments to expand our customer base.
- Loan Servicing: Monitor and manage a portfolio of loans, ensuring timely and sound servicing, and providing excellent customer service to our borrowers.
- Credit Administration: Conduct thorough credit analyses, gather and reconcile financial data, and make sound lending decisions in accordance with our credit policies and procedures.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field, with 1-3 years of experience in agricultural lending or a related field.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make sound lending decisions.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Travel and Flexibility: Ability to travel within our assigned territory and occasionally across the association, with flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
