Med/Surg RN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team at STJ St. Joseph's Hospital. As a Med/Surg RN, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

• Deliver exceptional patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and promoting a culture of safety.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering open communication, teamwork, and a culture of respect and empathy.

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of West Virginia or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of experience in a Medical Surgical setting, with a strong focus on patient care and teamwork.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
