About the Role
As a School Bus Driver with First Student, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. Our drivers are dedicated professionals who prioritize the well-being and safety of our passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and school staff.
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and support staff to ensure seamless operations.

What We Offer
  • A competitive starting wage of $27.32 per hour.
  • A $5,000 sign-on bonus for fully licensed drivers.
  • Paid CDL training for those who need it.
  • Additional hours available through charter route opportunities.
  • A child ride-along program for drivers who want to bring their kids along.

Requirements
  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Hold a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
  • Pass a drug screen and physical.
  • Be subject to DOT drug testing.
