• Retrieve patient records in a timely manner
• Monitor the collection, processing, and maintenance of patient and clinical records
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative visits
• Support RN with opening and closing duties
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and operating room
• Charting and preparing surgery notes and progress notes
• Provide support for physician during procedure as necessary
• Clean and sterilize operating room and instruments
• Explain treatment procedures, medications, and physician's instructions to patients and caregivers
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Maintain appropriate medical supply

• Use of telephone, computer, and other related instruments or devices
• Vision and hearing acuity
• Standing and walking for periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

• Valid and current State LVN/LPN License
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
• Sound clinical judgment regarding wound assessment
• Ability to interpret instructions and write reports
• Problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
• Familiarity with MS Office, including Excel
• Basic math skills
