Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Unit Supervisor to join our team at Advocates. As a key member of our Developmental Services team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of Individual Service Plan (ISP) goals, behavior support strategies, and therapy services tailored to individuals in your care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement ISP goals and objectives, behavior support strategies, and therapy services for individuals supported
  • Lead a dedicated team of support staff, providing mentorship and cultivating a nurturing environment that encourages individuals to exercise autonomy in decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with the Program Supervisor to ensure seamless operations and the delivery of effective services across the unit
  • Manage program and consumer funds in accordance with Advocates policies and procedures
  • Encourage and support individuals in making independent choices to the greatest extent possible
Requirements
  • Associates degree in a related field preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 3 or more years' experience working in a related field
  • Valid driver's license along with an acceptable driving status
  • Use of a reliable vehicle, which seats two passengers
