**Job Overview:**

C SL Plasma is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Screener to join our team. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of donors at our plasma collection center.

**Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $65,000 per year.

About the Role:

  • Greet and register donors, conducting a series of registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
  • Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, including assessing self-administered health history, answering basic medical questions, and performing health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature.
  • Educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma, explaining the screening process, health screening tests performed, appointment system, donation fees, center policies, proper nutrition, and other pertinent information.
  • Maintain alertness and awareness to any reaction by a donor may have during or after the pheresis process, notifying appropriate staff and alerting Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
  • Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Promote safety in all actions, maintaining a clean and efficient work environment and ensuring sufficient operating supplies and forms are available as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum three months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment.
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions, and to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
  • Must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation.
