Job Description

As a Service Advisor at Toyota of Hattiesburg, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service by working with customers to determine their vehicle issues and problems. Your goal will be to determine the repair timeline and work with technicians to convey the customers' concerns with accurate repair descriptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and speak to them about their vehicle needs
  • Consult with technicians about needed repairs
  • Inform customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections
  • Schedule shop work for technicians
  • Inform customers of changes in service or when their vehicle is ready to be picked up
  • Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and history of vehicle
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Establish follow-up time
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and update customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers
