Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Egg Product Packer to join our team at our Lenox, Iowa facility. As an Egg Product Packer, you will be responsible for packing finished high-quality frozen egg products in cases according to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Pack frozen egg products according to customer specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  2. Monitor and pick off defective egg products that do not meet customer specifications.
  3. Ensure that all policies, procedures, and activities related to Food Safety & Quality are followed and complied with uniformly.
  4. Work in teams to ensure that the conveyor system does not back up and become jammed with product.
  5. Rotate to different positions during shift as needed.
  6. Determine if product meets proper specifications or not and take corrective action as needed.
  7. Assist in the general good housekeeping of the area.
  8. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and incorporate safety and health in all jobs and tasks.
  9. Ensure regulatory compliance at all times.
Requirements:
  1. At least one year of stable work history preferred.
  2. Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words in English and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
  3. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  4. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and withstand constant motion.
  6. Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 30 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. safely.
  7. Ability to work indoors, on hard surfaces, in changing temperatures.
  8. Ability to travel stairs.
  9. Basic math skills.
  10. Basic verbal skills.
  11. Ability to work in a team environment.
