Position Summary:

We are in search of a user-centric product engineer to become a part of our Lending Products team. In this capacity, you will be instrumental in creating intuitive and seamless user interfaces that will drive the suite of Parafin's financial solutions. The Lending Products team is tasked with designing the user journey for all of Parafin's financing offerings. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to introduce new features and continuously refine existing ones to improve the user experience. Your contributions will be vital in developing our core web infrastructure and prioritizing frontend enhancements that expedite product development while ensuring a superior user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of our customer-facing web product and lead its development.
  • Define the product architecture, encompassing both the technologies employed and the design principles applied.
  • Engage with customers regularly to comprehend their needs and shape the product experience.
  • Collaborate closely with product designers to maintain high standards for our products.
  • Assist in scaling the Parafin team by recruiting exceptional talent.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a web engineering role.
  • A strong commitment to building high-quality software and a deep pride in your craft.
  • Comfortable taking ownership and driving product development from inception to completion.
  • Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals.
  • Proficient in Javascript, Typescript, React, or similar technologies.
  • Strong grasp of functional and reactive programming paradigms.
  • Enthusiastic about working within a small team and contributing to the foundational growth of the company.
