About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Cashier to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling customer transactions and managing cash and credit transactions
  • Assist customers with product inquiries, resolve issues, and provide recommendations on products
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas
  • Collaborate with store staff to achieve sales goals, manage inventory, and maintain store appearance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
