Job Summary

PNC Bank NA is seeking a skilled Detection and Investigation Analyst Lead - Self Service Wire to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for reviewing and investigating customer cases, reports, and work for potential and actual loss. Your expertise will help minimize fraud, Anti-Money Laundering, and organizational risk, while performing early detection of suspicious activity and controlling and preventing losses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and investigate customer cases, reports, and work for potential and actual loss, minimizing fraud, Anti-Money Laundering, and organizational risk.
  • Perform early detection of suspicious activity and control and prevent losses.
  • Research and analyze bank activities and reports to detect and prevent possible fraudulent and suspicious activities, recommending disposition and identifying gaps and control enhancements.
  • Use defined research procedures to identify and resolve issues, identifying trends and escalating as appropriate.
  • Follow standards and practices to mitigate fraud, Anti-Money Laundering, and other risk exposure and loss, sharing best practices among the team and/or service partners.
  • Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation of analysis performed and coordinate with internal or external stakeholders as appropriate.

Work Experience

  • Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
