Developmental Disabilities Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Developmental Disabilities Professional to join our team at All Care Home Health. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of services, supports, care, and treatment to individuals served by our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human services, business management, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience in the field of disabilities and special needs. A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required, and a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia is preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the delivery of state waiver services and supports to approved individuals
- Monitor and participate in the implementation and delivery of Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
- Supervise the formulation of ISPs and ensure implementation strategies reflect the goals and objectives of the plan
- Monitor progress toward achievement of goals in the ISP and make recommendations for modifications
- Supervise Intensive Support Services, including writing and reviewing Behavior Support Plans and Crisis Plans
- Attend training required by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities to gain at least 8 hours of Continuing Education (CE) per year
- Act as the Privacy Officer and oversee all staff responsible for day-to-day waiver services to ensure All Care Home Health exceeds state policies and procedures
- Bachelor's Degree in a human-services related field or Business Management from an accredited four-year college
- Minimum of five years of experience in the field of disabilities and special needs
- At least one year of experience in a residential program and management of persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia (preferred)
