Job Type: Full-Time/Direct Hire with Comprehensive Benefits Package. This position is not temporary.

Available Shifts:
  • 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11:30pm (Overtime Required)
  • 3rd Shift: Starts at 11pm
Shift Premium: Additional $1.50/hour for 2nd and 3rd Shifts.

Additional Compensation: A signing bonus of $750 is available upon meeting the 90 and 180-day criteria. New hires have the potential to increase their hourly wage after approximately 6 and 12 months of employment.

POSITION SUMMARY:

U.S. Engine Valve is seeking dedicated Production Equipment Specialists (also known as Product Technicians) to join our machining team. These positions involve operating automated machinery (not assembly) and ensuring the quality of parts, along with managing tool and material changes at designated intervals.

Our roles require active engagement and are not simply about monitoring machines (refer to the Essential Duties section below). Training will last a minimum of 6 weeks, with additional training provided as necessary. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime on weekends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate production machinery in accordance with safety protocols and operational guidelines.

• Conduct equipment setups and perform light maintenance. Troubleshoot machinery as needed.

• Ensure proper lubrication and coolant levels in machines, as applicable.

• Adjust machinery, tools, and components to maintain product specifications.

• Accurately complete production documentation, including first piece approvals, tagging, and scrap tickets.

• Utilize specified gauges to verify product tolerances.
