MRI Imaging Specialist

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans and procedures according to established protocols. This role requires a strong understanding of MRI technology and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens Magnatom MRI units and be certified by the ARRT/ACR. Additional certifications in modalities such as Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, and DEXA are a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform MRI scans and procedures according to established protocols
* Operate an MRI scanner to take cross-sectional scans and combine them into a 3-dimensional image
* Interview patients, explain the scanning process, and position them on the examining table
* Administer intravenous injections of gadolinium, a contrast agent that increases visibility of internal body areas
* Utilize sterile technique when performing venipuncture and introducing contrast material
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience as a MRI Technician and/or Mammogram Technologist
* MRI Board certification through ARRT/ACR
* CPR certification
* High School Diploma or equivalent
