Overview:
The Electromechanical Assembler III is responsible for executing a diverse range of assembly tasks to produce precise electro-mechanical assemblies. This role requires the use of precision measuring tools to verify compliance with blueprint specifications and tolerances, ensuring we meet our clients' requirements. The assembler will work under a microscope for extended periods to assemble delicate antenna products, regularly referencing prints and drawings while utilizing parts lists to align with work orders. Following process specifications and employing standard measuring instruments are essential to adhere to customer specifications and accurately complete necessary documentation. This position also involves soldering small center conductors and cable assemblies, as well as constructing wire harnesses and circuits.
Responsibilities:YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Report on work progress to management during daily Value Stream meetings.
- Identify and address non-compliance issues while seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, planning, and other support teams to resolve quality and delivery challenges.
- Maintain adherence to 5S practices within the workspace and ensure that safety, health, and environmental compliance are integral to daily activities.
HOW TO SUCCEED Minimum Requirements:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with geometric tolerances.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Exceptional soldering skills.
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software, or hardware governed by ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. Candidates must be eligible to obtain U.S. Government export licenses as required by law.
Preferred Requirements:
- 1+ years of soldering experience.
