We are seeking a seasoned Medical Director to lead our outpatient clinic in Bradenton, FL. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive clinical and business outcomes while promoting collaboration across multiple fields and teams.
About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled physician to leverage their expertise and leadership abilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The successful candidate will have strong clinical knowledge and experience in managing clinical staff and personnel costs.
Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement action plans to address gaps in financial performance and growth across service lines, aligning with our annual business plan.
- Clinical Excellence: Plan and carry out strategies for new clinical and business processes within the region, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
- Staff Management: Manage clinical staffing and personnel costs, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Metric Monitoring: Analyze and monitor key clinical metrics, including efficiencies, cost per encounter, coding and documentation, to inform strategic decisions.
- Talent Development: Build and lead clinical teams focused on service delivery, driving key business metrics and clinician support.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Board Certification: In Occupational Medicine or other Primary Care specialty (such as Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine), with General Surgery also acceptable.
- Licensure: Requirements of the state of jurisdiction, including an unrestricted DEA license.
- Education: A graduate of an accredited MD or DO program from a reputable university.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to participate in Medicare.
