About the Position

StateJobsNY is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing exceptional psychiatric and behavioral healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with licensed psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Prescribe and manage pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions as needed.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • New York State License and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Certification by the New York State Education Department in the Psychiatry specialty area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $140,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
