Dietitian Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to provide quality clinical nutrition services to our patients. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or intervene in acute or chronic illness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical nutrition therapy for all patients in accordance with providers orders, as well as hospital, and Clinical Nutrition Department policies.
• Perform assessments on all patients identified to be at nutrition risk per established policies and procedures.
• Provide nutrition education as identified.
• Support the Food and Clinical Nutrition Department Teams.

Requirements:

• Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.
• Experience: Less than one year.
• Education Discipline: Bachelor of Science Degree in Foods and Nutrition or related field. Completion of Dietetic internship. Successful passing of the registration examination for dietitians (RDN).
• Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN).
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
