Job Title: Battery Cell Manufacturing Equipment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Battery Cell Manufacturing Equipment Specialist to join our team at Human Technologies, Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, onsite position responsible for contributing to the development, installation, and implementation of battery cell manufacturing equipment.

About You:
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
  • You have a minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • You have expertise in industrial engineering concepts such as line balancing and timing charts.
Responsibilities:
  1. Contributing to the development, installation, and implementation of battery cell manufacturing equipment.
  2. Taking equipment from rough concepts to full production.
  3. Managing equipment suppliers or internal design teams through development and deployment milestones.
  4. Developing station requirements, including work content, automation vs. manual processes, buffering strategy, and redundancy requirements.
  5. Working with industrial engineering to develop material flow strategy within the factory.
